Micronesia is a vast region stretching from Hawaii to the Philippines. The "Federated States of Micronesia" (FSM) is one of the many countries within Micronesia. The FSM is often referred to simply as "Micronesia". The FSM is divided into four states: Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae.
